Santana’s program at Palmetto Equine Center reflects both her work ethic and her focus on producing versatile, reliable horses. As a fourth-generation equestrian, she brings a strong and diverse background spanning everything from dressage to reining, along with experience in jumpers, eventing, and Western disciplines. She blends training methods from multiple influences into a well-rounded, practical approach.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Santana holds  degrees in business administration, along with certifications in equine business management and equine massage. She is also a professional member of the American Quarter Horse Association as well as the PtHA. 

Her training philosophy emphasizes creating truly broke horses—both in and out of the arena. Horses in her program are exposed to real-world environments, including trails, livestock, traffic, and everyday farm activity, ensuring they are confident, level-headed, and adaptable.

Santana also brings a unique approach to her lesson program, focusing heavily on rider confidence and trust. By addressing mental barriers before getting in the saddle, she helps riders build lasting confidence and achieve success.

Today, Palmetto Equine Center offers training, lessons, and consignment services, with strong demand and a growing client base. With limited Western-focused programs in the area, Santana is helping fill an important gap in the local equine community
